Helmfried Meinel (Umweltministerium Baden-Württemberg) points out that Mannheim is one of only four cities in Europe, that organize a UTC. He considers this as a big opportunity for Baden-Württemberg to take part of the UN Habitat World Urban Campaign. “With this kind of events, we can leverage the opportunities that come with the immigration movement – I would like to thank the organizers for their engagement.”
