David Linse studied political science and European administrative management. His special field is the impact of the European process of integration on cities and communities. After several years of working as the head of the European office of the municipalities in Baden-Württemberg in Brussels his career continued in Mannheim, where he became the city’s head of the European office and subsequently head of the newly founded department of international affairs, integration and protocol. In this capacity he is the co-chairperson for the working group “Immigration from South-East-Europe”.
