United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) on behalf of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), hereby invites qualified firms to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming competitive bidding exercise for Supply and Delivery of Solid Waste Management Tools and Equipment to Somalia, in line with the overall framework of the UN Joint Programme for Local Governance and Decentralised Service Delivery (JPLG). The objective of the project is to promote sustainable solid waste disposal and management by reducing the health risks associated with improper disposal of solid waste by residents in the municipalities. UN-Habitat would like to purchase the following solid waste disposal equipment for the municipalities of Bosaso and Qardo: 1. (2) 7.0 m3 compactors with 1.1 cu.m container lifting arrangement 2. (80) 1100 litre containers Interested vendors may forward their Expressions of Interest (EOI) along with the signed vendor forms to pdnairobi@unon.org. All EOI submissions should be sent via email, citing the EOI reference number and title in the subject line. UNON reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement of this EOI at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. Only Vendors which in UN’s sole discretion are deemed eligible and qualified upon completion of an objective evaluation of their EOI submissions may receive the final tender solicitation documents.
